TLCCA

The Lakes College Community Association (TLCCA) is an integral part of our College community existing through the goodwill and commitment of parents, carers and friends of the College. The Association plays a key role in developing quality relationships that underpin a true sense of community, as they work with other parents, carers, students and staff to provide support in different ways for our College.

As well as raising funds for much needed resources and facilities, TLCCA provides a way of parents and carers connecting with each other, forming friendships and feeling a true sense of belonging to our great College.

Community members can be involved by volunteering to support or organise a fundraising activity and actively participating in monthly general meetings, contribute to a sub-committee or holding an office bearer position within our TLCCA Executive committee.

The Association believes that one of the best ways we can provide support is by being actively involved in the community. Activities the Association sponsors include annual fundraisers such as the Mother’s Day Stall, the Father's Day Stall, school programs such as sports teams and equipment, Buy a Brick fundraiser, managing the school’s Second Hand Uniform Shop, funding major projects such as playground equipment and undertaking working bees as well as annual events on the College calendar.

Membership of the TLCCA is open to all parents and carers of students attending the College, and any other persons aged 18 years and over who are committed to the development of a supportive College community.
