Ready to Enrol?

We welcome applications year round, though some year levels are at capacity with waiting pools. To check availability before applying, please contact our Enrolments Office on 07 3491 5555 or send us an email at [email protected].. Please note that Application Fees are non-refundable. We begin interviewing our Prep cohort 12 months prior to the year they commence school. The majority of Enrolment Interviews are held in February and March, with First Round Offers made shortly after. Year 7 cohorts are interviewed and made First Round Offers approximately two years prior to their start date; however, we continue to interview and offer places as vacancies occur throughout the years leading up to commencement. Families seeking to enrol two or more children at The Lakes College, including those with a Prep or Year 7 child, are encouraged to contact our Enrolments Team for guidance to support their decision‑making.

Enrolment Process

  1. Submit an online Application for Enrolment with birth certificate
    Upon processing you will receive an email confirmation that your application has been received. Your child's name will be added to the waiting pool for the year level requested. Note: an application does not guarantee that a place will be available or offered. Please note, there is a $160 Application Fee (non-refundable).
  2. Complete Interview
    If the enrolment is for the current year you will be contacted for an enrolment interview. The student and parents attend the interview. The latest copy of the school report is required at the interview, if not already supplied.
    If the enrolment is for future years, you will be contacted the year prior to commencement for an enrolment interview. Communication is made by email, please ensure up to date contact details are provided.
  3. Receive "Letter of Offer"
    If a place is offered, a “Letter of Offer” will be communicated via email and all documentation must be completed and returned by the due dates. If you choose to accept the offer, a non-refundable $500 Confirmation Fee is payable to secure the offer. A $1000 Family Enrolment Deposit is also payable per family and this is refunded once your last child has left the school.
  4. Attend Orientation Day
    Invitations to attend Orientation and Parent Information Sessions are sent by email.

Tuition Fees

Fee Statements are emailed at least a week prior to the first day of term as well as being published to the Parent Lounge. Current parents are requested to ensure their contact details, specifically their email addresses, are current. Contact information may be updated via the Parent Lounge. It is an expectation that enrolling families are aware of the Tuition Fees payable. Please click on the following link to view the College’s current Fee Schedule.

Prep Year Commencement

Legislation requires that children must be turning 5 or turned 5 by June 30 in the year that they commence Prep. Please use the Entry Year Calculator to determine your child's year of entry.
