Restorative Practices Workshop (May)

Wed 21 May 8:30am - Fri 23 May 3:00pm

Restorative Practice | 3 Day Facilitator Training

Effective behaviour management goes beyond mere punishment; it seeks to repair harm and restore relationships. A restorative approach shifts the focus from punitive measures to accountability and healing, encouraging meaningful dialogue between wrongdoers and those affected. This highly practical, interactive three-day workshop will equip participants with the skills to implement restorative practices in their schools. Through reviewing current strategies, exploring concepts of compliance and fairness, and engaging in practice conferences, attendees will gain the confidence to facilitate restorative processes for both serious and minor incidents. Additionally, class conferencing will be introduced as an elective approach to addressing classroom dynamics.
